Primary focus: New York City (five boroughs). Exact coverage for a matter is confirmed at engagement, including licensing and lawful authority.

Investigative occupancy work is not an FCRA tenant or landlord–tenant consumer report. When you need documented screening for a permissible purpose, use People Vetting Tenant Screening or Landlord–Tenant products separately.

How does the rent-stabilized building lookup help?

The lookup searches a local index of NYC buildings that, per public NYC Rent Guidelines Board / HCR registration lists, contain at least one rent-stabilized unit. It does not determine whether a specific apartment is stabilized, and it is not a fraud finding. Use it to orient next steps, then engage for occupancy verification when appropriate.

NYC pages describe service capability for early discoverability. New York private investigator licensing and engagement eligibility are confirmed in writing before fieldwork. Not legal advice. Not a determination of rent-stabilization status for any apartment.
