Privacy Policy
Version 1.0-DRAFT · Effective date TBD after counsel review
1. Who we are
People Vetting is operated by Metro Risk Management Group LLC (“we”, “us”). Contact: compliance@peoplevetting.com.
2. Scope
This policy covers the public website, cookie preferences, and authenticated platform accounts. Consumer reports and applicant data processed as a Consumer Reporting Agency are governed by FCRA procedures, client agreements, and notices delivered in product — in addition to this policy.
3. Information we collect
- Website: technical logs, IP address, user agent, cookie consent choices
- Accounts: name, email, authentication and MFA metadata, role, organization
- Screening (when live): applicant identifiers and report data under permissible purpose
4. How we use information
- Operate and secure the service
- Provide tenant screening to authorized clients
- Meet legal, FCRA, and security obligations
- Improve the site only where analytics cookies are consented
5. Cookies
See our Cookie Policy. Necessary cookies support security and preferences. Analytics and marketing cookies load only after consent (or remain off under Global Privacy Control).
6. Sharing
We do not sell personal information for money. We may share data with processors that host or secure the platform, with data providers when a client places an authorized order, and when required by law. See Do Not Sell or Share.
7. International transfers
Primary market is the United States. If staff or processors outside the U.S. access systems, we intend to use appropriate contractual and technical safeguards. Details will be finalized with counsel.
8. Retention
Website consent logs and security logs are retained per InfoSec policy. CRA consumer file retention follows FCRA and business-need rules (separate from marketing cookies).
9. Your choices
- Cookie preferences via the banner or footer link
- CCPA/CPRA requests: email compliance@peoplevetting.com
- FCRA consumer file rights: via product notices when reports are produced
10. Changes
We will update the version and date when counsel-approved revisions publish.
